Excited about shutting down Washington, DC this spring? Join us for a #ShutDownDC Direct Action Training! We’ll cover the basics of working together in a small group (affinity groups), moving in the streets together, how to plug in with the action framework, your legal rights and what to do if you’re arrested, and staying healthy and safe in the streets!

If you’re planning on joining us on the streets on this spring, we’d strongly encourage you to make sure that you and the folks you’re planning on hitting the streets with participate in a training. Also, if you haven’t joined an affinity group yet we’ll have some very specific ways to get you plugged in to make a big impact during #ShutDownDC!

The Southeast Library has an accessible entrance on D St. SE. ShutDownDC is committed to creating an inclusive and accessible space. If there is anything that you need to be able to fully participate in this meeting (for example, ASL interpretation, translation or childcare) please email
